Notices
There are two types of notices that will be served upon contractors that disregard their obligations of removing their own waste to the agreed locations and continue to leave their waste on site:
Immediate Notice
This simply requests that the given contractor carries out their request with immediate attention, as this may relate to a H&S issue e.g. (materials obstructing a fire exit), if the contractor is on site he may on receipt of the notice rectify the nonconformance with immediate effect, if issue is not rectified, the management company will be quite within their rights to appoint another contractor to carry out the works on behalf of the offending Sub Contractor.
If the contractor does not rectify the situation then there will be no alternative but for the relevant Logistics Contractor to carry out the works on the contractor’s behalf, and the company will be contra-charged accordingly in line with the clients standard operating procedures and terms & conditons.

Timed Notice
This type of notice gives the offending contractor an agreed period of time to rectify the details of the notice issued, the amount of time given will be displayed on the notice where the amount of time remaining will also be displayed along with reminders.

Costs
There will of course be costs incurred in the whole process which at the time will be determined by the Principle Contractor or Management Company.
All works carried out by the Management Company's Logistics Company on behalf of the contractor will be accurately recorded of all labour, plant, tools, lifting equipment, and waste disposal that are required to complete the works. The costs of which will be agreed with the mutual client and will be made available for deduction from the monthly valuations by the projects Commercial Manager.

Cost Tracking
An important factor in the process is giving both client and contractor the option to monitor and track the costs incurred for not only the individual project but all projects that are currently being utilized on SWC.com.
